Ahoy, fellow Pirates and supporters of the West Virginia Pirate Party (WVPP)! It's time for a new update as we navigate the ever-exciting seas.
Captain Ty Clifford, the visionary leader of the WVPP, has been actively engaged in discussions and meetings with the USPP, serving as their Vice Chair (VC). The focus remains grounded in West Virginia, but the value of a united pirate front is recognized. Clifford's collaboration with USPP strengthens collective efforts in advocating openness, transparency, and freedom in a digital age.
USPP conducted an election to appoint an Auditor, a crucial role in ensuring financial transparency and accountability. We're thrilled to announce Ben Horlic has been elected as the Auditor for the USPP. With his dedication and expertise, Ben will help maintain the financial integrity of the USPP, ensuring that resources are efficiently directed toward our mission.
Here's a momentous development on the global stage: Captain Ty Clifford, is working alongside Sopphey, US Pirate Party's temporary Swarmcare Manager, to explore more possibilities with Pirate Parties International (PPI). This international organization unites pirate parties from around the world, promoting shared values of openness, freedom, and innovation.
As WVPP moves forward, the aim is to expand our reach, connect with like-minded individuals, and explore opportunities for global collaboration. While the primary mission is to drive positive change within West Virginia, we recognize the broader impact we can achieve by fostering international ties with the wider pirate community.
We're excited to embark on this journey, and we'll keep you updated as our efforts progress. The winds of change are blowing, and we're ready to set sail for new horizons.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference, not only within West Virginia but across the global pirate movement. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our mission of empowerment, transparency, and progress.
